Kaiser Permanente offers a seamless experience that makes managing your health care easy. You can schedule appointments and check lab test results in Kaiser’s app, and the health-care provider offers most of its services under one roof — in most cases, you can leave an appointment and pick up a prescription at an on-site pharmacy. Kaiser also offers a variety of programs and classes designed to help its members live healthier lifestyles.

With more than 70 years of service, Rose Medical Center is an institution that’s earned a reputation as Denver’s “baby hospital.” The acute-care hospital has 422 licensed beds, and its team of 1,300 employees, 100 volunteers and more than 1,200 physicians cares for more than 160,000 patients each year. Filling prescriptions can be a chore, so Walgreens tries to make it easier by offering high-tech customer service options, such as being able to download prescription records and automatically order refills. There’s also an online chat for people to ask questions and get expert advice about medications. Walgreens, which is based in Deerfield, Ill., and is now called Walgreens Boots Alliance after a 2014 merger, has more than 100 stores in Colorado. Some are open 24 hours, and many have health-care clinics and drive-through pharmacies. But some customers likely don’t want to stay in the car, when the store has everything from pet care items to groceries to flip-flops.
