BEST PHARMACY

WALGREENS CO.

Filling prescriptions can be a chore, so Walgreens tries to make it easier by offering high-tech customer service options, such as being able to download prescription records and automatically order refills. There’s also an online chat for people to ask questions and get expert advice about medications. Walgreens, which is based in Deerfield, Ill., and is now called Walgreens Boots Alliance after a 2014 merger, has more than 100 stores in Colorado. Some are open 24 hours, and many have health-care clinics and drive-through pharmacies. But some customers likely don’t want to stay in the car, when the store has everything from pet care items to groceries to flip-flops.
