The past year has seen an unprecedented number of bank acquisitions and mergers in Colorado. 5Star Bank remains locally owned and operated by a team of Colorado Springs and Denver bankers and shareholders. The bank was formed in May 2015 following 5Star's acquisition of three branch locations by a local group of investors and bank management. These locations are under the ownership of local residents and investors from the Colorado Springs community.
