Meier Skis has officially moved to Denver

The new headquarters makes room for more than skis

ColoradoBiz Staff //February 14, 2017//

Meier Skis has moved to Denver from Glenwood Springs to accommodate the growing needs of manufacturing and expose the brand to more people.  Located at 970 Yuma Street, the location has perfect visibility from I-25 near 8th Avenue and is open to the public to see the inner workings of ski and snowboard manufacturing.

The space has been built out with a beautifully designed custom bar (made from Meier ski wood cores) serving local craft beer with a glass wall behind the bar to watch the skis and boards being pressed. This space is the first of its kind in the world with a brand that is actually manufacturing skis right in front of visitors.

In addition, skiers looking for that one of a kind ski can design their own custom ski, demo several styles before purchasing and even bring their own skis in for tuning.

Meier will be hosting happy hour tours of their facility (schedule to be announced) as well as hosting events in this unique ski-centric space.

Meier has worked hard to establish themselves as a high quality and high performance ski brand with an eco-friendly aspect that tops all other ski manufactures in the US.  Meier skis are made from sustainably sourced Colorado aspen and pine beetle kill wood making for a unique combination of durability, beauty and performance.

Glenwood Springs will always be a special place to Meier and the support they have received from the beginning has allowed them to grow and be recognized as one of the best craft ski-ery brands in North America.

Ted Eynon, owner of Meier Skis has a vision to make the space a go to place to hangout, work and enjoy a local craft beer:

“The move to Denver came at a perfect time for our brand. With an increase in visibility the Denver community brings, and the unique space we landed, makes for a perfect combination,” Eynon said.
