Women to Watch: Moxie Med Spa

Ronica Kirwin is the owner of Moxie Med Spa, a business that started in 2006 with a two-room waxing studio, and has quadrupled in size and employees, becoming a full blown med-spa offering services for both men and women including hair removal, skin care, injection services,  rejuvenation treatments and more.  

Ronica is also the owner of Moxie Sugar, the all-natural sugar wax that is used at Moxie Med Spa for temporary hair removal. Moxie Sugar has grown from an exclusive in-house product to being sold nationwide through distributors to hundreds of spas and salons across the United States.

In the later part of 2019, Ronica is excited to open a second location in Parker, Colorado. The demand for a second location is strong and she and her team are excited about expanding Moxie to a new area.

In addition, Ronica has been working hard to obtain her doctorate in natural medicine, graduating in 2019. It has been a dream of hers to pursue this avenue and expand additional services and offers through Moxie. She already holds a Master and Manager's license in Cosmetology with a specialization in cosmetology, a BS degree in computer science, a BS in holistic health and a BA degree in organizational leadership and communication.
