A Day to Celebrate, Empower and Support Colorado’s Women Entrepreneurs

WED Colorado Conference Set for November 17 in Denver at The Commons on Champa


The inaugural observance of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Colorado (WEDColorado) on Friday, November 17, 2017, sets the stage to celebrate, empower, and support women entrepreneurs in all types of businesses, at all stages, and all ages. The all-day free conference will be held from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Commons on Champa, 1245 Champa Street, Denver. The distinguished group of keynoters, speakers, and breakout session leaders includes well-known, highly accomplished women entrepreneurs and leaders. The morning Keynote Speaker is Heidi Ganahl, CEO & Founder of Camp Bow Wow and  University  of Colorado Regent. Colorado State Representative Leslie Herod will give the closing keynote and present Governor John W. Hickenlooper's proclamation of November 19, 2017, as Women's Entrepreneurship Day Colorado

Colorado leaders and entrepreneurs are planning a powerful celebration of Women's Entrepreneurship Day ("WED") Colorado 2017 with a proclamation to invest in women in entrepreneurship and innovation.  WEDColorado recognizes the important role that women have as leaders in business and industry who contribute to Colorado's economy, workforce, and overall quality of life; more than ever, women are making a difference in Colorado through their contributions inspired by a centuries-old entrepreneurial spirit and fueled by their resourcefulness, innovation, and ingenuity.​
