Executive Director | Mentor Colorado

Denver

As MENTOR Colorado’s executive director, Hannah Krieger has championed and grown quality improvement programs for 21 youth mentoring agencies. She also launched the “Everyday Mentoring” program to train police, firefighters, teachers and coaches to be better mentors to kids.

A  Fulbright scholar and former college soccer player, Krieger previously worked at WeCOACH and the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club, where she created programs designed to give free soccer programming to under-served youth and train more female youth coaches.

Outside of her work with MENTOR Colorado, Krieger mentors a group of teenagers and several young professionals, volunteers for a variety of nonprofits and has participated in a six-month leadership training program.

Recipe for success: “Have a mentor and be a mentor. Identify your core values and mission, then focus on the small things that you can do every day to fulfill those values and ultimately inspire real change. Be interested instead of interesting.”
