TaxOps names Judy Vorndran a partner
The company also hires tax specialist Peter Murphy

Judy Vorndran has joined TaxOps as a partner to lead the firm’s expanding state and local tax (SALT) practice. She specializes in developing efficient SALT management functions and advising business in all aspects of state and local tax compliance, including but not limited to nexus studies, apportionment analysis, state tax audit assistance, voluntary negotiation agreements and transaction planning and due diligence.
Prior to joining TaxOps, Vorndran was the first National Tax Partner at Eide Bailly, where she launched the firm’s SALT practice. She further gained extensive experience serving large-to middle-market clients as a senior tax manager for two international Big Four professional tax services firms.
Vorndran regularly presents on issues related to state and local taxation. She is a Colorado Society of CPAs 2014 Women to Watch award winner and a 2014 Distinguished Faculty member for Lorman Education Services. To learn more about her and TaxOps, click here.
TaxOps also has hired veteran tax leader Peter Murphy, who has more than 25 years of tax reporting, compliance and strategic planning experience. His professional emphasis is on designing efficient tax solutions that leverage tax opportunities and minimize tax exposure.
At TaxOps, Murphy oversees processes and reviews filings in all aspects of federal, state and local tax compliance and provision work. He also leads automation strategies for corporate tax departments as part of the firm’s TaxOptimization functional improvement solutions.
