Passion: the spark that ignites growth

There are more than 40 local professionals who have been volunteering their time and talent on six different committees to bring the 9th Annual Rocky Mountain Corporate Growth Conference to life.

The planning started more than nine months ago, when our conference committees rallied to contemplate the vital issues and trends depicting our current and future business environment; to recruit the most forward-thinking minds as speakers; to get the word out to attract a vibrant audience ready for idea-sharing and valuable networking; and to obtain generous sponsors to help fund the entire operation.

In addition, the ACG Denver Board of Directors had our backs the entire way, and paved a clear path for us to execute on our vision for this years’ conference with access to their network and resources.

As the conference chair, I was humbled by the dedication of the teams of people who worked tirelessly to balance their own personal and professional obligations to stay focused and vigilant on the conference goals and objectives. I want to thank each of them personally:

Why did so many people work so tirelessly on this conference? In a word – passion. We believe in the power of collective thinking, and that the greater good is served when individuals come together with a shared purpose. The purpose of the Rocky Mountain Corporate Growth Conference is to ensure that those who choose to do business here are met with opportunities for growth, access to resources, and real-world solutions to positively impact their business. We have a passion for our business community and the role we each play in creating a healthy and vibrant place for commerce and industry.

All in all, we applied the conference theme -“Execution as a Competitive Advantage,” to our own process in developing and delivering what we hope will be simply the best business summit the region has ever seen. We couldn’t have pulled it off without the commitment of our superstar lineup of speakers, hailing from some of the most successful middle-market companies in Colorado today. Conference attendees will benefit from hearing not only what these companies have achieved, but also how they did it and what they plan to do to sustain their growth.

Now, I invite you to join us at the conference on April 27 & 28 at the Inverness Hotel in Englewood. You won’t want to miss the keynote address by Steve Forbes, chairman of Forbes Media and editor-in-chief of Forbes magazine; and all of the tremendous content, the executive panels, the valuable networking and deal making action. Details on just about every aspect of the conference are highlighted in this section. If there is anything else you need to know, we are here to help. Just ask.
