FUTURE OF BEER TOUR

Time: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: DaVinci Institute, 511 E. South Boulder Road, Louisville, CO 80027

Web Site: http://www.davinciinstitute.com/events/659/future-of-beer-monday-august-19-2013

Travel with the industry’s leading thinkers through the heart of craft brewing country

In 1988 when Governor Hickenlooper opened the Wynkoop, Colorado’s first brewpub, little did he know he would be launching a movement.

Over the past couple decades Colorado has emerged as the epicenter of the craft brewing industry, now with over 140 breweries and more cropping up every month. What Napa Valley is to wine, Colorado is to beer.

Nationally, the craft brewing industry employed 108,440 jobs in the U.S. last year, at the same time that another 409 new breweries opened.

But with all of these new players entering into the market, what is happening to the industry as a whole? Will there be enough consumers to buy all of the beer being produced? Does Gen-Y like beer as much as older generations? And how will beer in the future differ from what’s being produced today?

So many questions, not enough answers?

For this reason we’d like to have you join us as we take a behind-the-scenes tour of some of Colorado’s newest microbreweries, talk to the experts, and find out what’s really driving the rapid expansion of this industry.

Join us as we climb aboard the “Future of Beer Bus,” sample a variety of unusual new beers, and discuss what’s driving the future of this industry.

Legal Strategies for Entrepreneurs That Maximize Business Value While Avoiding Potential Landmines

Time: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Location: DaVinci Institute, 511 E. South Boulder Road, Louisville, CO 80027

Web Site: http://www.davinciinstitute.com/events/657/legal-strategies-boot-camp-saturday-august-24-2013

What do Apple, Google, and Amazon all have in common?   Strategy.

Good businesses have strategies, bad businesses don’t.  A strategy is a plan designed to achieve the business’ goals.  A good legal strategy is just as important as a good business strategy to maximize the value of your business and avoid potential landmines.

Join Roger Glovsky – the Legal Strategist as he shares his innovative approach that will help you:

  • Maximize legal dollars so that you spend money only on legal issues that are strategically aligned with the success of your business.
  • Have peace of mind that your intangible assets are protected so that you can grow your business faster and increase the value of your business when you are ready to sell it.
  • Take charge of your legal matters so that you can negotiate business deals with confidence.
  • Develop stronger business relationships with customers, distributors, and investors by setting expectations properly on key legal issues right from the start.

A legal strategy is not just about saving time, it is also about creating value.  Today, 80% of the value of most businesses is “intangible.”  These intangible assets include technology, websites, content, databases, customers, marketing plans, distribution channels, joint ventures, employees, contractors and other intellectual property. Understanding how to maximize and legally protect these assets is critical to maximizing the value of those assets and building a business that is both profitable and sustainable.

Without a legal strategy, business owners often leave it up to their lawyers to recommend what legal services they need and pay thousands of dollars for the advice. The last thing a business owner wants to do is spend money on legal services they don’t need.  A good legal strategy will maximize legal dollars by directing resources towards legal matters that are well aligned with the business goals.

Come and find out how you can grow the value of your company and protect its most valuable assets while saving money in the long run.  This is a must-attend event for growth-oriented entrepreneurs.
