Presenting Financial Information Visually in PowerPoint – Hands-on Tools and Techniques

Time: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Location: Hilton Garden Inn, 1400 Welton St., Denver

Web Site:

In surveys, audiences say that they find the spreadsheets, tables, and complex graphs on PowerPoint slides overwhelming. In this focused, hands-on, one day workshop, participants will overcome the two key roadblocks presenters say prevents them from using effective visuals instead of the spreadsheets, tables, and complex graphs they are currently using.

First, they will see many different visuals from real presentations, giving them the knowledge of which visuals work for the different messages they deliver. Second, they will be hands-on in PowerPoint practicing how to create the effective visuals they have seen, so they will know how to create these visuals for their own presentations when they go back to their office.

All the details for the workshop are at, including a video that shows makeovers of four typical slides used in financial presentations.

The workshop leader will be Dave Paradi. His clients describe him as a presentation expert. He has written seven books and four e-books on the topic of effective PowerPoint presentations in business. He is one of only thirteen people in North America to currently be recognized by Microsoft with the PowerPoint Most Valuable Professional Award. Because he is a business person with an MBA, not a designer, he can relate to financial professionals and the messages they need to communicate.

Intuitive Intelligence Boot Camp

Time: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Location: DaVinci Institute, 511 E. South Boulder Road, Louisville, CO 80027

Web Site:

Intuitive Leadership can enable you to:

  • Catapult individual and organizational brilliance: practical, analytical, social, emotional, creative, and intuitive intelligence
  • Increase productivity and performance exponentially
  • Make the right decisions, right now
  • Reduce stress and its debilitating effects on higher brain function, decision-making and problem-solving
  • Unleash innovation and creativity
  • Move your organization in the right direction and let go of unproductive patterns
  • Lead through vision, effectiveness, wisdom and awareness

As with your other senses, you were born with intuition, yet it can remain largely unused. When your gut tells you one thing, do you sometimes go another direction – and later regret it?

The ability to consciously access, develop and trust this intuitive intelligence is your organization’s most important asset as it is the foundation for innovation, maximum efficiency, happiness, and growth. The brain is the most valuable technological tool available to us, and yet grossly underutilized. Findings in neuroscience are so new, that most organizations are not yet capitalizing on the brainpower and genius within all of us.

In a time when we need to be more innovative and insightful than ever, eight out of ten American workers (and their brains) are debilitated by stress.  Stress literally shrinks higher level brain function which negatively affects decision making, problem solving, energy, attention, focus, relationships, and health. Conversely, we access brilliance when we use our intuitive intelligence as we are calm, aware, and optimizing brain function. The greatest leaders and scientists of our time utilize their intuitive power to benefit their lives and the world.
