Award nominations have been submitted for nine APEX award categories. Nominees for 2014 APEX Awards include more than 43 companies and 28 individuals from across Colorado. At the APEX Awards, we recognize Colorado’s technology excellence, highlighting remarkable leaders and innovators.
The awards to be given in 2014 include: Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement, Technology Startup Company of the Year, Technology Company of the Year, Technology Project of the Year, Chief Information Officer of the Year, Technology Entrepreneur of the Year, Technology Teacher of the Year, Technology Advocate of the Year and Woman in Tech of the Year.

USGBC Colorado Green Schools Summit

What: More than 400 K-12 and Higher Education stakeholders, policy makers, students, parents and green building industry professionals are expected to attend USGBC Colorado’s Green Schools Summit for a discussion on the future of education and how it is shifting, to be held at the University of Denver on Friday, November 14. Now in its eighth year, the focus of the Summit will be how to design, build and maintain 21st-century schools, with the ultimate goal of greening Colorado’s schools within one generation.
