Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

* Collect, merge and organize completed job folders

* Complete invoices in custom industry software

* Work with sales staff, permit tech, installation/service manager to get jobs invoiced correctly and in a timely manner

* Complete and keep record of monthly progress payments for ongoing contract jobs, including completing required close-out documents

* Fax, e-mail or mail invoices, customer sign-off documents, lien waivers

* Monthly: Confirm that all job folders have been turned in, run tax report to audit that all taxes are being reported correctly on invoices, confirm that all inventory has been taken out for the month

* Be pleasantly persistent with customers in the on-time collection of accounts receivable

* Receive checks and online payments daily and take deposits to the bank

* Attend weekly and monthly meetings as needed

Requirements:

Experience/Education/Skills:

* 2+ years accounts receivable experience required

* Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Great organization and multi-tasking skills, highly detail oriented

* Self motivated and self managing, yet works well in a team environment

* Must type at least 45 WPM

* Excellent computer skills; proficient with MS Office, with emphasis on Excel spreadsheets

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, telephone systems, scanners, faxes and copy machines

* Demonstrates a good understanding of general business operating procedures

Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an Accounting Specialist with extensive Accounts Receivable experience. Must have at least two years of experience with accounting in a manufacturing environment. Must have advanced MS Office skills including Excel.
