Qualifications
Education and Experience
• 4-year College degree preferred
• 3+ years prior print production and mailing experience required, preferable in print publications
• Proven computer skills using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• Detail oriented and highly organized; able to prioritize, and handle multiple projects
• Clear and effective communication required
Job Description
Manages print buying for magazine titles, inserts and custom projects. Manages print/mail production process. Manages database and responsible for limited data entry. Quality control and knowledge of USPS mail requirements. Create impositions and production schedules. Enforcing deadlines. Facilities management and supply ordering.
Primary Responsibilities
• Responsible for print/paper buying for all magazine titles
• Assist in gathering pricing and other quote information from printers for new projects
• Managing print/mail production process
• Create and update production schedules for print publications/enforce deadlines
• Create impositions and work closely with internal teams to coordinate ad/editorial placement
• Database management and sales contract entry
Secondary Responsibilities
• Quality control and USPS mail requirements
• Supervise vendors related to office equipment/supplies
• Supervision of front desk position
• Facilities management and supply ordering
