Faces of Community Service: Bellco Credit Union

Started by employees of Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph in 1936, Bellco has grown to become Denver’s largest credit union with 325,000 members and more than $4.5 billion in assets. Being a member-owned cooperative has given Bellco the ability to build upon a longstanding history of giving back to the communities it serves.  Bellco supports organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, Children’s Hospital and the Denver Art Museum, to name a few.

Bellco frequently receives recognition for providing outstanding financial stability to its customers, vendors, and employees. For more than three consecutive years, Bellco has earned a “5-Star” rating from BauerFinancial, one of the nation’s leading rating services for financial institutions. Bellco was also recognized as the "Best Credit Union" in ColoradoBiz magazine's "Best of Colorado" 2015, 2016 and 2017. Readers placed Bellco at the top of the list for its business accomplishments and community impact.
