After monitoring conditions associated with COVID-19 and based on CDC recommendations, Norwich University’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) postponed the grand opening event of its Denver office on March 25. Norwich University is tentatively planning to reschedule the event for fall 2020.

Norwich opened a new facility in the Denver area to support the educational demands of the growing workforce in this region. In addition to online master’s degree and bachelor’s degree completion programs, Norwich University will offer continuing and professional education courses and certificates to adult learners throughout the region. The Norwich Denver facility also will serve as a hub for developing partnerships with local businesses in creating customized education programs for their staff as well as supporting prospective high school students interested in attending Norwich undergraduate degree programs at the Northfield, Vermont campus.

“In the midst of this challenging health environment, Norwich is prepared to lead our students with their continuing education,” CGCS Vice President and Dean Bill Clements says. “Norwich will continue to do whatever is necessary to ensure our students’ safety and welfare during the threat of the coronavirus.”

The new facility in Denver will commence with operations to support the educational demands of the growing workforce in this region. During this pandemic crisis, Norwich will provide a safe opportunity for all students to continue their education through online courses.

Norwich University will continue to monitor conditions to determine a date to reschedule the grand opening event sometime in the fall. For more information about Norwich’s Denver office, visit online.norwich.edu/denver
