SYK Holdings is Driving Reliability in the Hemp Industry [VIDEO]

Behind the Biz: How Shannon Kaygi went from driving Lyft to building a $1 million startup

Shannon Kaygi was working in customer service and driving for Lyft when she stumbled into a new career and industry.

In the video above, Kaygi talks to videographer/interviewer Scott Cowperthwaite about her unique trajectory. From meeting a THC compliances software company CEO driving for Lyft to joining their company on the operations and business development side, she quickly learned of the importance of compliance in the cannabis industry. With her industry knowledge and connections, Kaygi started her hemp and CBD wholesale distribution firm called SYK Holdings.

Quickly growing the business to a $1 million company, SYK Holdings helps customers find compliant and reliable wholesale hemp-derived products. By making connections in the lab to the farm, Kaygi is able to offer her customers peace of mind when it comes to buying wholesale hemp.

“Everyone thinks they’re the best, I actually know that they are,” Kaygi says. In a still burgeoning and un-regulated industry and market this is definitely something of value.

Watch the video above to hear from Kaygi on her journey to starting her own company, finding success and learn more about what it is that SYK Holdings is doing.
