CBRE Group, Inc. has named Matt Vance its director of research and analysis for the Colorado region, including Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver and Fort Collins. He joins a team of senior research professionals around the country who develop in-depth insight and analysis on a variety of trends impacting a broad base of commercial real estate professionals.

“Our clients depend on CBRE’s market-leading research to make critical real estate and business decisions on a daily basis,” said Pete Schippits, senior managing director and Colorado market leader. “Matt will serve to elevate our research efforts, ensuring our clients are armed with the information and analysis needed to make well-informed, strategic real estate decisions that drive business outcomes.”

As director of research and analysis, Vance is responsible for guiding the research efforts within the region, as well as maintaining CBRE’s position as a thought leader across markets. His work will be focused on arming CBRE’s professionals and clients with unmatched market knowledge and sophisticated analysis to ensure data-driven decisions and world-class results.

Vance joins the firm’s Colorado region from CBRE Econometric Advisors (EA), CBRE’s independent real estate forecasting arm, where he has been an economist for the past two years, focusing on the multifamily sector. In addition to his new role, Vance will continue to serve as an economist at EA and advise on CBRE’s forecasting.

Before joining CBRE, Vance held a real estate research position for Real Capital Solutions (RCS), a highly entrepreneurial real estate investment management company that focuses on value-add, opportunistic and high-barrier-to-entry markets.

Vance holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He also holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics, statistics and business economics from Grand Valley State University.
