Kendall Qualls of Medtronic joins Colorado UpLift board

Kendall Qualls has joined the Colorado UpLift Board of Directors. Qualls is the U.S. Region Leader and Vice President-Marketing for the Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions Business Unit at Medtronic. Medtronic is a $27 billion global medical device company with a mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.

Qualls has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry; prior to joining Medtronic, he led marketing and sales teams at Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Becton Dickenson. Before entering the healthbcare industry, Qualls served as a U.S. Army officer. He holds a B.S. Degree from Cameron University in Lawton, Okla., a M.A. from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Colorado UpLift is a 34-year old youth service organization in Denver serving 5,400 youth in 2015/2016. The program partners with Denver Public Schools to implement a workforce development class and comprehensive wraparound support to help impoverished youth succeed. Outcomes include higher graduation rates, higher post-secondary enrollment rates and significantly increased character and life skills. The Colorado UpLift Board of Directors is comprised of over 100 top leaders in Colorado, currently chaired by Walt Rakowich, former Co-CEO of Prologis.
