Kent Fischmann Joins DGS Partnership

Davis Graham & Stubbs (DGS) recently hired Kent A. Fischmann as a partner in the firm's finance and acquisitions department. He will focus on intellectual property matters, particularly in the areas of trademarks and patents.

Fischmann is admitted to practice in Colorado and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has a record of assisting clients in developing and executing strategies to safeguard their technology and to maximize the value of their intellectual property to investors. This often involves developing complementary patent and trade secret programs and protecting trademarks, prosecuting patent applications, conducting freedom to practice analyses and providing counsel relating to intellectual property transactions.

Prior to starting at DGS, Fischmann was a founding member of Marsh Fischmann & Breyfogle LLP and practiced in the firm’s Boulder office. He previously practiced at other law firms in Denver and Seattle, including one specializing in intellectual property law.

Fischmann holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and a B.S.A.E. from the University of Colorado. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America since 2008, earning the publication’s title of Lawyer of the Year (Patent Law, Boulder) in 2016. He has also been repeatedly named a Top Lawyer by 5280 magazine and a Colorado Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers.
