Bank of America Supports Art Exhibitions and Free Admission

The bank receives honors from the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts


Bank of America's commitment to philanthropy in the arts, including sponsoring major exhibits at the Denver Art Museum, grants for arts conservation and their Museums on Us program earned the organization a 2019 Colorado Business for the Arts award. 

CBCA's business for the arts awards are presented to exemplary organizations that have gone above and beyond to support the arts and creative industries. 

"The arts are a fabric of our society and it's really important to Bank of America to support that fabric," Raju Patel, Denver Market President says. "The arts are a way we invest in our communities."

Bank of America's vast nationwide program offers free admission to museums on the first weekend of each month for the bank's debit and credit card holders. Local museums involved in Museums on Us include the Denver Botanic Gardens, the Clyfford Still Museum, the Museum of Nature and Science and the Denver Art Museum

They've also supported a number of exhibitions at the Denver Art Museum, including the Wyeth exhibit, including the work of Jamie and Andrew Wyeth; and Mi Tierra, a collection of contemporary works by Latin artists. Bank of America is also behind conservation programs like the one that restored the Virgin of Valvanera, a 17th century Mexican oil painting.
