Here’s what’s up this weekend:

For Fado Irish Pub, St. Patrick’s Day isn’t just a day – it’s almost a week. The party starts today from noon to 6 p.m. with the annual St. Baldrick’s charity event, then picks up again at noon on Saturday with 10 hours of Celtic tunes. On St. Patrick’s Day, the pub opens at 8 a.m., the outdoor beer garden opens at 2:30 p.m. and the music starts at noon.

It’s the opening weekend for Body Worlds and the Story of the Heart at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, an exhibition about a subject near and dear to everyone’s heart. Check out the see-through body slices from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets: $10-$25.50

It’s the last weekend for Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theatre’s funny, insightful The Enlightenment: A Musical in 12 steps. Two acts, eight main characters and 15 musical numbers. Performances tonight and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets: $10-$20

Sure, and who doesn’t love Celtic bluegrass? The Cherry Creek Chorale presents its Celtic music festival tonight and Saturday, featuring the Centennial State Pipes and Drums and Colorado Celtic Harp Society, together with special guests Reckless Abandon at Bethany Lutheran Church. Tickets: $5-$15

Get a bang out of Chelsea – she’s a real pistol! Stand-up Chelsea Handler brings her 2010 Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang Tour to the Colorado Convention Center at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets: $45-$65

HOPE Center Lights The Streets of Downtown Denver with Vintage Vegas…Million Lights of HOPE, a Roaring 20’s casino theme with music, live auction and tasty treats that gets rolling at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night at the Sherman Events Center. Proceeds benefit the center’s programs for special needs and at-risk kids and adults. Tickets: $75-$125

Maybe you’d rather take a stick in the eye than eat even one raw oyster, but the teams converging on Jax Fish House in Denver on Sunday are made of sterner stuff. Come out at 3 p.m. to see them eat as many of the slimy lil devils as possible in 30 seconds. Proceeds benefit The Gathering Place, and the winners get a trip to Napa Valley.
