The Denver Press Club brings singing political satirists The Capitol Steps to the Newman Center at the University of Denver campus. See “Obama Mia!” at 5 p.m. at the June Swaner Gates Concert Hall. Tickets: $45.50; $75 VIP seats include a post-performance reception with the cast plus a CD.

Fresh off the ice in Vancouver, the Smucker’s Stars on Ice Tour brings 2010 Olympians to the Pepsi Center at 4 p.m. Performers might include Meryl Davis & Charlie White, Mirai Nagasu, Tanith Belbin & Benjamin Agosto, Jeremy Abbott and Miki Ando. Tickets: $12.50-$140

Clear Colfax — the runners are coming! It’s the 5th annual Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon, starting and finishing in City Park, there’s a marathon, half-marathon and marathon relay, among other fast-moving events.  Fees: $8-$97.
