BEST PLACE TO MOVE/OPEN A BUSINESS

CENTENNIAL

Ever since Centennial was incorporated as a city in 2001, it has tried to make it easy for businesses to operate. “We were looking to be efficient in our own operations,” Mayor Cathy Noon says. “A number of council members are small business owners like myself, so we know the frustrations.”

Business owners can find many solutions online, from building permits to filing sales taxes. Also, the city is getting high-speed internet with a fiber optic network. “We know that’s what people need for telemedicine, data centers, software and technology,” Noon says. “Fiber is like water, like electricity. It’s an expectation.”
