Best of Colorado 2019

More than 15,000 votes were cast for readers' favorites

I've never been to the Wild Animal Sanctuary near Keensburg, butI was reminded again that I nee to go there when I saw that it was voted the top Eastern Plains Attraction and read about this refuge for more than 500 lions, tigers, bears, wolves and other large carnivores.

Same with an outfit called Pig Latin. Never eaten there, but it was the top vote-getter in our hotly contested Food Truck category, so now I want to find out why.

And so it goes with our Business Choice Readers' Poll.

Now in its fifth year, this supplement to ColoradoBiz is a mix of consumer offerings and B-to-B services covering 85 categories, from accounting firms to lawn-care services to pet boarders to the best place for team-building (that would be Topgolf, according to voters).

As in past years, we teamed with Data Joe, a third-party research firm that set up the online ballot system and tallied the votes, which were collected over several months at coloradobiz.com and through our e-newsletter, ColoradoBiz Daily. Voters were allowed to vote for their own company, but were also required to vote in at least 10 categories.

We hope this supplement to ColoradoBiz is both practical and fun for you. Read on to explore this year's Best for Colorado's winners and finalists:
