Ernest Sampias

Ernest Sampias has experience as a director for Xyratex and Bio Fuel Energy. He recently served as Interim CEO for Xyratex until its sale last year to Seagate Technology. He has served as CFO for Sensis, Spectralink, Local Matters, McDATA, Convergent Communications and US West Dex. Sampias graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Business and holds a master’s degree in Taxation from DePaul University. He is a member of the Financial Executives Institute, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the board of directors of the Colorado Chapter of NACD.
