James McDonough is an HR research consultant with Employers Council. In this role, he he writes guidance articles and leverages experience and research to consult with employers on their practices. McDonough also conducts presentations and training on HR compliance, organizational effectiveness and business management topics to support Employers Council members in becoming successful, effective employers. A Colorado native, McDonough loves hiking, skiing, and camping in the Rocky Mountains with family and friends. Since graduating from the University of Colorado-Boulder, he has worked in the public sector with workforce development and higher education and in the private sector in HR and business management.
