Broomfield Lawyer Honored for Pro Bono Services Extended to Creatives

Caroline R. Kert named Volunteer Attorney of the Year by CBCA

Recognizing an outstanding attorney who has provided pro bono services to Colorado creatives and advanced Colorado's Attorney for the Arts program, CBCA honored Caroline R. Kert as Volunteer Attorney of the Year in 2018. The Broomfield-based lawyer provides legal services to artists and enhances creative vitality through volunteerism.

"I represent artists and creatives and volunteer," Kert says. "Anytime the legal industry can help to support emerging artists who may not otherwise be able to afford services that's a wonderful thing."

From helping individual artists protect their intellectual property, create and review contracts, to helping to organize community events for thousands of people, Kert tries to share her expertise with those who may otherwise not be able to afford such services.
