Colorado’s Women-owned Staffing Firm Celebrates 25 Years
Award-winning, and 100-percent Women-owned Colorado Network Staffing earns 25 years of success, growth, and female leadership in business.
Colorado Network Staffing (CNS) — a staffing agency that is 100-percent women-owned, specializing in recruitment, payroll, HR management, and project management located in Westminster, Colorado — rings in 25 years of service in March of 2022.
Founded in 1996 by Pam Fritzler, CNS transferred ownership to Sandra (Sandy) Miller in 2019. Sandy has a long history with CNS, beginning as an Accounting Relations Manager when it first opened and rising to Vice President in 2014.
Sandy has played a formative role at CNS from the very beginning, influencing its values and focusing on customer needs to give them the power to attract and support the best people.
Sandy continues the women-owned distinction and affiliation with the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). She proudly leads CNS in its nationwide support of clients with temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire candidates.
Female Leadership and Award-winning Services
Sandy has lived in Westminster and the greater Denver area her entire life, and began her career with a B.S. in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She completed SCA (Service Contract Act) training on labor laws and regulations in 2012, then became licensed as a Certified Staffing Professional through the American Staffing Association in January 2016.
As Sandy’s career progressed from finance into organizational leadership, she strengthened her knowledge in the employment economy, and toward the unique needs and opportunities of businesses in Colorado and organizations nationwide. The desire to continue growing and evolving is evident in her education and business achievements.
Colorado Network Staffing wins ClearlyRated 2022 Best Staffing Talent Award for providing superior service to our candidates.
“My 25 years with CNS have seen so much resilience,” reflects Sandy. “We’ve persevered through two recessions, navigated the ‘Great Resignation,’ and survived the pandemic. We’ve adapted to change, developing new systems and methods, and refreshed our brand to win the ClearlyRated 2022 Best Staffing Talent Award for providing superior service to our candidates.”
Each year, temp agencies and staffing agencies compete to secure the Best of Staffing Talent Award with ClearlyRated, by achieving at least a 50-percent Net Promoter® score for exceptionally high service levels to clients and job candidates. Winning the award reveals that among its competitors, CNS continues to be a top Colorado staffing agency for recruitment and job placement across the nation. CNS is also among many members — of The American Association of Staffing, Society of Human Resource Management, and National Association of Contract Management.
An Agency Built on Long-term Relationships
Sandy has played a formative role at CNS from the very beginning, influencing its values and focusing on customer needs to give them the power to attract and support the best people. The result has been successful, long-term relationships with employers and candidates in both the public and private sectors and across industries, including technology, healthcare, commercial, industrial, accounting, and IT staffing.
“Making relationships a priority has been the foundation of our service,” says Sandy. “The word ‘Network’ in our name describes the importance of connectivity in all that we do.”
The CNS Key to Success
A big part of the company’s success is knowing how important it is to align with a growing customer base comprised of small, disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned businesses. In 2001, CNS obtained SBA 8(a) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certifications under the leadership of Fritzler, which added to CNS’ Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) certifications.
These credentials allow CNS to serve government, commercial and private sectors, and clients such as Denver Public Schools and Denver Water. It also enabled them to mentor other small businesses, building relationships in a community of other 8(a) Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) companies needing individual HR services or a full-service outsourced HR provider.
After receiving the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2008 certification in 2013, CNS increased its level of service through highly streamlined processes and quality control. CNS works closely with client teams to develop job descriptions, improve recruiting methods, and fine-tune procedures in order to recruit and retain the most qualified candidates for their organizations.
