Ronald O. Verrilli named senior vice president

Ronald O. Verrilli will join Commerce Bank's commercial real estate team as senior vice president and permanent placement specialist, following an announcement made Wednesday, Aug. 22. He brings 20 years of lending experience to the new role, in which he will work closely with relationship managers throughout the bank's 16-state commercial market footprint, providing clients with debt and equity solutions for the acquisition, refinance, rehabilitation and repositioning of assets.

"With his network of strong relationships and experience in secondary market solutions, we can serve as a quick and efficient one-stop-shop for our commercial clients' diverse financing needs. With Verrilli's hiring, Commerce Bank deepens its lending capabilities in all property categories, including retail, office, industrial, hotel, senior housing and multi-family. Commerce Bank clients can now seamlessly access secondary market options, without adding an outside broker into the mix.
Prior to joining Commerce, Verrilli served as president of Verrilli Real Estate Advisors, where he provided commercial clients with lending resources from capital market providers such as agencies, life companies, conduits, banks and private equity. Verrilli's extensive experience also includes setting multi-million-dollar lending deals while serving in senior leadership roles at GMAC/Capmark/Berkadia and NorthMarq Capital, all located in St. Louis.
