Denver

When he’s not revolutionizing the video-streaming industry, David Hassoun is in his workshop crafting wood-turned fountain pens, hanging at the mountain home he helped build or roaming the world in search of great ramen.

Hassoun’s self-started technology company, RealEyes Media, provides software and video solutions for clients including NBC Sports, EA Games, AMEX, Motorola, Chase Manhattan, Oracle, Adobe and the U.S. government. He has designed and implemented streaming solutions for the world’s largest sporting events, including the Olympics, the Masters, the World Cup and the Super Bowl.

“One of my favorite parts of my work is being challenged daily to solve unique and complex problems in a fast-paced high pressure industry,” Hassoun says. “Even more so, is knowing that the solutions we create connect millions of people all across the world to the content they are most passionate about.”

A sought-after industry speaker, Hassoun has promoted the growth in this industry by creating and leading the Rocky Mountain Adobe User group for over a decade, while also leading discussions at Denver Video Tech. He actively supports recent graduates interested in learning more about streaming technologies and has developed a video-focused educational internship program at RealEyes.

Recipe for success: “Find something you are passionate about and start learning today. Any chance you have to learn from others, take it.”
