Delta Dental of Colorado hired Adeeb Khan as the new vice president of corporate social responsibility and executive director of Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation, beginning January 6, 2020.

This dual role, serving both organizations, will help further the mission of the company through a targeted corporate social responsibility strategy and continue to drive the foundation’s focus on advancing oral health equity. This will allow each of the organizations to optimize the impact they have in their respective areas, operating separately but in alignment under Delta Dental of Colorado’s vision. The combined efforts spotlight oral health as an important element to improving the well-being of all Coloradans.

“I’m honored and excited to be part of an organization with such a remarkable commitment to Colorado,” Khan says. “Delta Dental of Colorado is setting the highest standards for responsible business practices, and Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation is entering a new phase in driving lasting community health outcomes. I look forward to being part of a tremendous team and bringing new passion and rigor to our collective missions.”

“I’m thrilled to have Adeeb join our team,” says Delta Dental of Colorado President and CEO Helen Drexler. “As a local leader, he has demonstrated a passion for community health and understands the impact that business can have on the overall well-being of our community. We are so pleased to have a leader who has tremendous enthusiasm for the impact that improved oral health can have on quality of life and economic prosperity.”

“Adeeb’s desire to be in the community and inspire dynamic conversations with diverse perspectives will support the foundation’s efforts to identify solutions that achieve greater oral health equity,” says Marilyn Taylor, Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation board chair.

Prior to this role, Khan was senior director of corporate social responsibility at TIAA, senior director of volunteer engagement at Mile High United Way and regional director of health and safety and community services at American Red Cross. He holds an MBA from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver and a BA in communications and media studies from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Khan is currently serving on the board of College Track, the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation and B:CIVIC. He is a graduate of the Leadership Denver class of 2017 and has been recognized as a Downtown Champion by the Downtown Denver Partnership, a Chamber Champion by the Denver Metro Chamber and as one of Denver’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Denver Business Journal.
