Denver Chefs Compete at Great Chefs of the West
36th annual event raises funds for the National Kidney Foundation
More than 20 of Denver’s top chefs will participate in a competition showcasing their culinary talents on Wednesday, March 13 at EXDO Event Center. Held each March during National Kidney Month, Great Chefs of the West raises funds for the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) to increase awareness about the prevention and treatment of kidney disease.
“Food is one common thread that everyone can relate to, and this event will draw in people who want to have a good time, socialize, and enjoy amazing food – all with the benefit of giving back,” said Kendra Burrell, Executive Director of the NKF Serving Colorado and New Mexico.
The restaurants with participating chefs are: The Bindery, El Five, Fruition, Glazed and Confuzed Donuts, Hop Alley, Interstate Kitchen + Bar, Mercantile Dining and Provision, range, Narrative, Acorn, Death & Co., Cirque Kitchen & Spirits, Eclat Culinary, Former Saint, Julep, Hearth & Dram, LoHi Steak Bar, Old Major, Safta, Shanty Supper Club, Super Mega Bien, Syrup and The Inventing Room.
