In a year that has challenged businesses–both large and small–across sectors and industries, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce celebrated the six winners of the 2021 Business Awards, presented by BOK Financial. The winners were selected from 18 finalists and announced live at a virtual ceremony on April 14.

Awards were presented in the categories of minority or woman-owned business, small business, start-up business, small nonprofit, large nonprofit and disruptor. Winners for all six categories were announced live at the virtual event on April 14.

The 2021 finalists were originally announced in 2020, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Denver Metro Chamber made the decision to postpone the annual award ceremony to 2021. These 18 finalists withstood the challenges of the pandemic, showing Colorado’s spirit of resiliency, innovation and collaboration.

“Congratulations to all of today’s winners,” said Kelly Brough, president and CEO of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. “The finalists we’re going to learn about today were amazing a year ago, and then they all tapped into their Colorado spirit of innovation, collaboration and resiliency to succeed in an environment that looks very different today.”

In addition to the award sponsors listed below, ColoradoBiz was the event’s media sponsor. Southwest Airlines and OnDeck were the event’s community sponsors. Reggie Rivers, former Denver Bronco and president and benefit auctioneer of The Gala Team, emceed the event.
