Stephanie Dybsky, International Business Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa for the Governor's Office of Economic Development and International Trade, will present on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Colorado.  She will speak on the advantages and challenges that Colorado faces in attracting European companies to Colorado and how Coloradans can help promote our state to the European market.  She will also explore the new Colorado brand developed through "Making Colorado", an initiative

4th Annual Arapahoe House Luncheon with Emmy Award‑Winning Actress Meredith Baxter

Emmy award-winning actress Meredith Baxter will deliver the keynote address at Arapahoe House’s 4th Annual Luncheon on September 20, 2013. The fundraising event will be held at The Seawell Grand Ballroom at The Denver Center for the Performing Arts and will benefit the nonprofit organization’s life-changing addiction treatment programs.

In film, television, and on stage, Baxter is noted for her accessible portrayals of intelligent, independent women, most notably, on the long-running and extremely popular “Family Ties”. Transitioning to drama after seven years as one of America’s favorite sitcom stars, she quickly became one of the most sought-after actors for television movies. Baxter also served as executive-producer on her television series “The Faculty” for ABC and in the same capacity for a number of her own movies for television. She most recently appeared on the hit series “Glee”.

On TV and in life, Baxter has devoted much of her time to speaking out on issues about which she is passionate, including alcoholism and recovery. Sober now for 23 years, Meredith recently released her autobiography, “Untied: A Memoir of Family, Fame, and Floundering”. She is the mother of five grown children and lives with her partner in Santa Monica, California.
