In this training class we take you from beginner to intermediate or advanced WordPress user in only 4 hours.
This is for those beginning in their understanding of WordPress or completely new to WordPress and want to learn how to create and update content, pages, posts, how and where to find widgets and install some, how to use the Visual Editor toolbar, different types of hosting, what it is, what exactly WordPress is and how to effectively manage and update a typical WordPress website quickly and easily.
This is not ideal for intermediate or advanced WordPress users.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Please bring tickets or receipts. There is no age limit, but we recommend that attendees purchasing tickets be (at least) 18 and up.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There are several free public parking lots available within walking distance with easy accessability.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
The best things to bring are: yourself, a willingness to learn, a notepad, several pens and pencils. Some attendees have brought their laptops in past
workshops/classes in order to try out certain procedures during the workshop itself, but it is best to be open to the material and simply take notes for later.
Will the presentation be available afterward for study?
Yes! We will make the entire presentation available for temporary download afterward, along with a few surprises for attendees.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please bring printed tickets or receipts if you plan to attend.
What is the refund policy?
If we need to cancel the event for any reason we will issue full refunds through EventBrite.
Will we have breaks?
Yes! The workshop is 4 hours long, so we will take breaks at the top of each hour for approximately 10 minutes for restroom or other breaks.
What if you don't cover what I want or if I have a question afterward?
This workshop is for those individuals who are new to WordPress and very little to no technical training is required. It is not for people seeking to become WordPress website developers overnight; it is a starting point for beginners. Attendees will be permitted to submit several questions after the presentation for follow-up, and I will also be available to address non-technical questions.

This is an annual, one-time 4 hour workshop. Sorry if the time or date is not convenient for your schedule. We'd love to meet you if you can attend, however.
