Global Design Firm, Gensler, Acts Local with Access Gallery

Gensler's Denver office celebrated for its support of Santa Fe Arts District gallery

In 2018, Gensler, the international architecture firm with roots in Colorado that stretch nearly 44 years, received accolades from the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts in their Business for the Arts program.

"We talk a lot at the office about how our work impacts our communities," says Jon Gamrbill, managing principal at Gensler. "One of the core principals of the firm has been to be engaged in our communities. We get invested in community groups that are also aligned with our passions.

In Denver, that looks like the team drilling down with one particular organization, Access Gallery, a nonprofit in the Santa Fe Arts District.

"They bring art and programming to young adults with disabilities," says senior associate with Gensler, Amy Siegel. The partnership began almost 12 years ago.
