Hotel Monaco names a new general manager

Randy Elmore brings decades of experience

Hotel Monaco Denver, downtown Denver’s most unique and sophisticated hotel, has named Randy Elmore its general manager. Elmore has more than 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry and more than nine years of service within Kimpton Hotels. Bringing to bear his experience in both hospitality sales and operations, Elmore will oversee Hotel Monaco Denver’s daily operations including managing revenue, ensuring staff efficiency and maintaining guest satisfaction.

Elmore comes to Hotel Monaco Denver from Kimpton’s Hotel Lumen in Dallas, where he served as Director of Sales & Marketing and General Manager since 2003. As the Director of Sales & Marketing, Elmore maximized the market share and led Kimpton Hotels in RevPAR index with an average 151 percent since 2011. As General Manager he oversaw the Sales & Catering team, maximized weekly revenue strategies, and grew GOP by 68 percent between 2013-2014. Hotel Lumen consistently made the Kimpton top five hotels in Market Metrix while Elmore was on staff.

Prior to his role with Hotel Lumen, Elmore held positions in the hospitality industry with titles ranging from Reservations Manager, Front Office Manager, Sr. Sales Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, General Manager and Area General Manager at a variety of different hotel companies.
