Kate Perdoni's Imagination and Inspiration Invigorate Colorado Springs

The rising professional receives accolades in 2018 for her creative contributions and commitment

Honored for leading the future of the state's cultural economy, spearheading growth and collaborations, Colorado Springs' rising professional, Kate Perdoni received recognition from the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts in 2018 with the EY Next Wave Leadership Award. Her commitment to elevate the arts is matched only by her personal investment as an artist.

"I'm an artist, musician, writer film maker, dancer," Perdoni says. "My access point to the arts has always been as an artist."

In August 2015, she joined the Public Art Commission of the Pikes Peak region, and shortly thereafter began volunteering with the Pikes Peak Arts Council, a 50-year old nonprofit advocacy organization.

"Art is my life; the arts are my life," Perdoni says. "I feel privileged and lucky to do what enriches me."
