“Revolutionizing the casting and splinting market through digital customized medicine”

ActivArmor is the first commercially available water-safe, breathable and hygienic 3D printed orthosis with the potential to replace traditional casting and splinting in the U.S.  The company utilizes 3D body imaging and design to develop custom-fit exoskeletal support devices for medical and sports applications.  ActivArmor devices are being prescribed for acute injuries like breaks and sprains, in post-surgical healing phases, as well as for chronic conditions that require immobilization, like carpal tunnel and diabetic wound care.  The custom designs were developed for comfort and for the best healing outcomes based on patient and physician feedback through 2 years of field tests and 5 years of commercial sales.

ActivArmor has raised over $1.2M in investments and grants to grow the business.  Our devices have been reimbursed by Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance companies.  ActivArmor is now available in medical facilities (hospitals and clinics) across the United States including, Vail Summit Orthopedics in Gunnison, CO, Fort Worth Physical Therapy in Fort Worth, TX, Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute in Jacksonville, FL, Northeast Orthopedics in Alabama, Central Indiana Orthopedics in the Indianapolis area, St. Lukes Medical Center in Bethlehem, PA, and Children’s Hospital Colorado.  We are also in 4 other countries now.

Our new iPhone scanning app now allows custom orders to be accepted worldwide directly through our website with a prescription from any provider.  We have contracts with over 100 orthopedic sales reps across the nation, and a full-time ortho tech on staff providing telehealth remote scanning and fitting support to patients and providers. We have fit thousands of patients across the country, including performance and professional athletes.  NFL players are currently wearing ActivArmor.
