A New Breed of EV Battery
Clean, renewable energy is a major focus across the globe and electric vehicles (EVs) are going to be an increasingly bigger piece of the solution. Despite growing interest in EVs, current adoption rates are low — but Solid Power is working to change that. Our innovative, all-solid-state battery technology is designed to be lower-cost, safer, and provide a longer range on a single charge as compared to today’s best lithium-ion batteries. Solid Power recently opened a second production facility and plans to submit our automotive-scale cells for automotive testing in early 2022.
