Women’s Bean Project believes all women have the power to transform their lives through employment. They hire women experiencing chronic unemployment to work in their food manufacturing business, creating a line of delicious soup and baking mixes, plus ready-to-eat snacks. In addition to steady employment, support services are provided to teach the skills needed to get and keep long-term employment in the community. Upon graduation from the 6-9 month program, women stand tall, have found their purpose, and are on the way to breaking the cycle of chronic unemployment and poverty.
