Moye White Welcomes Mark Kaplan to Real Estate Team

Mark Kaplan joined Moye White LLP as a partner in the firm's real estate section, which handles commercial real estate matters. 

As a partner, Kaplan will work with clients on real estate transactions including the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of commercial properties. He has past experience with mixed-use, retail, office, industrial and medical projects.

Prior to joining Moye White, Kaplan served as assistant general counsel at a Fortune 200 company where he negotiated real estate deals for dialysis centers throughout the country. He also served as in-house counsel at a national "big-box" home improvement retailer where he handled transactions for the acquisition, leasing and development of properties for the construction of stores and distribution centers.

In addition to his legal work, Kaplan also has experience on the developer side, as he has developed Target and Walmart anchored shopping centers.

Kaplan earned his law degree at Duke University, and his bachelor’s of science in business administration with a major in management and a minor in international relations from Bucknell University.

Mark is admitted to practice in Georgia and is temporarily authorized to practice in Colorado pending admission under C.R.C.P. 205.6.
