Plante Moran Celebrates 21st Year on Fortune’s “100 Best” List

The accounting and tax firm is ranked as a best company to work for

For the 21st consecutive year, Plante Moran, one of the country’s largest certified public accounting, tax and consulting firms, has placed on FORTUNE magazine’s list of "100 Best Companies to Work For".

“After 21 years on the ‘100 Best’ list, I can’t help but think about all that our firm has accomplished in that time," said Joe Bertsch, managing partner of Plante Moran’s Rocky Mountain Region.

The firm first appeared on the list in 1999 and has been on the prestigious list each year that it has applied; today it is ranked in the 21st spot. Since its first year, it has quadrupled its staff, increased revenue by more than 500 percent, and expanded to 25 domestic and international offices. The firm now serves clients in all 50 U.S. states and 124 countries.

Throughout this growth, the firm has shown that its "We Care" culture stands the test of time. "We’ve grown our staff, services and expertise. While there’s a lot to celebrate, our biggest accomplishment is that we’ve achieved this growth without losing sight of our culture. In fact, we’d argue that our commitment to culture is the reason for our success,” says Bertsch.
