GIL SELINGER, 36
DIRECTOR, FAIRFIELD AND WOODS P.C., DENVER
The youngest director at the firm, Denver native Selinger has played an integral role in increasing the firm’s representation of startup businesses, particularly those in the food and restaurant industry. Selinger represents his firm as the Young Lawyer Liaison in Meritas, a global alliance of legal professionals, connecting businesses to the right expertise anywhere in the world.
“The characteristic that Gil demonstrates the most is his commitment: He has been committed to the firm and its initiatives year after year,” colleague Michelle Friends says. “He steps up and volunteers to take on work that does not pay him more and demonstrates what a leader should be.”
Selinger sits on the board of Boulder-based Conscious Alliance, a nonprofit committed to supporting communities in crisis through hunger relief and youth empowerment, both in the Denver Metro Area and on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Selinger also sits on the Board of the Colorado Lending Source, a community-based Small Business Administration lender that lends funds to Colorado-based businesses in the startup or expansion phase.
