Best Meeting/Event Venue

Colorado Convention Center

The Colorado Convention Center, which hosts more than 230 events annually, is about to embark on its second expansion since it opened in 1990 after more than 100 professional meeting planners worked with architects to design the building. Expanded in 2005, the convention center is within walking distance of nearly 10,000 hotel rooms, 300 restaurants, nine theaters at the Denver Performing Arts Complex and a variety of shopping and retail outlets.

The expansion will include new flexible meeting and ballroom space of up to 85,000 square feet, and the addition of 100,000 square feet of new pre-function service space that also will include a 50,000-square-foot outdoor terrace on the roof of the existing building.
