CEO | Merritt Aluminum Products Co.

Fort Lupton

Every day, Taylor Merritt builds on the work his grandparents started, honoring his family values of grit and entrepreneurship.

Merritt Aluminum Products, spun off from a sister company in 2016, increased profit by 27% in 2018 under Merritt’s leadership. Ensuring a winning company culture has been key to his success.

“Taylor adheres to our core values in every decision he makes for the company,” colleague Nick Rahn says. “He spends time reviewing employee feedback to make sure Merritt Aluminum Products is a great place to work.”

Current work includes an initiative to expand the company, creating 20 new jobs. Merritt also works closely with local schools and has launched a company internship program, which has resulted in full-time job offers to many participants.

Recipe for success: “Work to uncover what is holding you back as early as possible, then find ways to overcome those obstacles.”
