The secret to AutoNation's success is that the company takes care of its associates.
"We believe in them, we empower them to get the job done, we respect them, and we make sure customer service is never sacrificed," says Marc Cannon, executive vice president-chief marketing officer, communications and public policy.
In surveys, he says 90 percent of customers believe their experience was very good or outstanding.

These days, it's easy to tap a button and get just about anything, including a ride. The Uber Technologies app lets customers request a ride at any time of day 365 days a year. It also provides different levels of pricing so customers can select a ride that suits their budgets. UberX provides rides for up to four people; Uber BLACK and Uber SUV are a bit more luxurious; and UberPool lets riders share the cost of a ride. Uber even lets customers get a fare estimate so there are no surprises when then credit card bill comes.

Southwest Airlines began service in Denver in 2006 with 13 daily flights to three destinations. Today, the Dallas-based carrier, known fo its two-free-checked-bags policy, no change fees and fun ads, offers up to 208 departures a day to 65 cities. Southwest has announced its intention to sell tickets in 2018 for service to Hawaii, subject to government approvals.
