Youth on Record Block Party

Working annually with almost 1,700 students aged 12-24, Youth on Record emboldens their students to face systemic injustice through programs centered around the arts.

The seventh annual YOR Block Party will be held entirely virtually this year as a day-long festival that is designed and led by the organization’s students.

Attendees will be able to experience 10-15 free workshops covering career advancement, health and wellness and art making, as well as seven to 10 youth performances, all for free.

Food Bank of the Rockies

One of seven people in the Rocky Mountain region face food uncertainty, but since 1978 the Food Bank of the Rockies has been providing hunger relief to its communities.

The nonprofit partners with more than 800 Hunger Relief Partners to provide more than 1 million meals a week, on average. For community members that struggle to make it to a food bank, the Food Bank of the Rockies operates more than 70 mobile sites that help reach those in need wherever they are.

Founded in 1896, Superior rode the economic boom of the mining industry from the town’s inception all the way until the Industrial Mine closed in 1945.

University of Denver (DU)

Pushing students to engage with real-world situations, the University of Denver’s MBA program at the Daniels College of Business aims to send its students to the top of the list for prospective employers.

The program requires students to complete four core challenges throughout their time at DU – the Enterprise Challenge, the Social Good Challenge, the Corporate Challenge and the Global Challenge – where classroom knowledge will be immediately applicable to industry relevant situations.

The Denver MBA also has five pre-set concentrations to pick from. And if none of those fit your needs, you can customize your own.
