Tom Clark leaves lasting imprint on Denver's economy

Tom Clark had a hand in major wins from DaVita to Arrow Electronics to Panasonic

TOM CLARK, 68

Former CEO, Metro Denver Economic Development Corp.

Just retiring after 14 years on the job, Clark leaves an indelible imprint and big shoes to fill. He got his start in local economic development in the mid-1980s and had a hand in major wins from DaVita to Arrow Electronics to Panasonic.

While a national search is underway for a replacement, Clark's not leaving the scene completely: He plans to continue to work with the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce when he's not spending time with his grandchildren.
