Women to Watch: LDK Logistics

This article is part of a special advertising section on Colorado's women in business. Women in Colorado are making an impact in every industry, enterprise and workplace role imaginable. They are CEOs, startup founders, strategists and irreplaceable employees who not only are instrumental in their own organization’s success; through their daily actions and achievements, they set a precedent of possibilities for the next generation of women in business to build upon. Each article profiles the person behind the business and organization that a Colorado woman has helped build or nurture.

Ultimately, logistics is about solving problems and removing headaches for a wide variety of customers.  Providing “white glove”—or as Liz likes to say, “velvet glove” — service for high-value deliveries ranging from health care and technology to retail, trade shows and furniture, LDK Logistics has been a trusted partner to large and small businesses around North America for nearly 20 years.

As co-owner and general counsel, Liz has helped to create a strong customer-centered service focus that has led to many happy customers and a motivated work force.

Prior to LDK, Liz leveraged her legal expertise at a variety of companies and law firms including Centurion Capital, Hogan & Hartson, FindLaw and more. She holds a JD from the Columbia University School of Law, as well as an MIA in International Political Economy from Columbia SIPA and a BA in East Asian Studies from Yale University.

An active member of the community, Liz currently serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Colorado Ballet, and is the author of “Conceivability”, an award-winning book on fertility.
